The Journey continues after the jump.
Route 16 & Lostlorn Forest
Caught: Liepard, Minccino, Solosis, Trubbish, Cinccino, Emolga, Swadloon, Tranquill, Leavanny, Unfezant
None of the above posed any problems in catching. In the Forest, there's a woman living in a camper van who refuses to speak to you. Good setup for a Pokémon horror movie!
Route 5 & Driftveil Drawbridge
Whipping up on the arrogant Cheren is always good fun, and the Champion of the region
Driftveil City & Cold Storage
Caught: Herdier, Stoutland, Vanillite
...Driftveil City gym leader Clay, a tough as old boots Texan named Clay. He's pissed with you because Team Plasma members he apprehended escaped while the drawbridge was being lifted, but that seems more like his problem, know what I mean? He orders you and Cheren to the Cold Storage facility to track them down. They must have sprung a leak inside because there's goddamn ice all over the floor! The workers meanwhile are just standing around - shouldn't they be cleaning it up?
Plasma are hiding inside a container. After crushing them, Clay shows up to take all the credit. Bastard. Better head for the gym to take revenge; it's hidden at the bottom of a mine shaft. I'm not sure what they're mining.. glitterstim perhaps? With Servine and Palpitoad, I'm a bad matchup for the grumpy old man, only his Excadrill escaping a OHKO. Even after conferring the Quake Badge upon you, he still refuses to acknowledge the extent of your power. Bianca shows up for a battle on the way out of town. She'll be accompanying you on the next stage of your journey.
